- Broncoscopy: A bronchoscopy is a test that allows your doctor to examine
your airways. Your doctor will thread an instrument called abronchoscope through your nose or mouth and down your throat toreachyour lungs. - Nebulization: Nebulizers are medical devices that create an aerosol mist from a liquid medication, suitable for inhalation. Nebulizers are used when portable inhalers are not suitable. Unlike the portable inhalers, the process
of nebulization delivers medication over a series of inhalations sometimes
taking ten minutes or so. - Sleep Study: A sleep study, more formally known as a polysomnogram, is
performed to diagnose sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia,
and restless leg syndrome (RLS). It involves spending the night at a sleep
laboratory that's part of a hospital or an outpatient sleep clinic.
